The O gauge section of the Northolt MRC is holding a running night, Friday 6th February from 19:30.
The layout is permanently installed in attic rooms and comprises a terminal station to terminal station double track main line with a run of approximately 80 feet, passing through an intermediate station with its own small yard. Another single-track branch line runs from the lower terminus to a country station. The layout is signalled and worked by block instruments.
The extensive 32mm gauge trackwork allows up to nine operators to work to a timetable on our regular track nights. Informal running sessions or locomotive and stock testing occur as the mood takes us.
Members bring their own locomotives and rolling stock which depicts all the various regions and periods. The club also owns a number of coaches and wagons to supplement members stock.
Visitors Welcome to bring locomotives and stock to run.
Please note, that the community centre has its own dedicated car park, however as other groups also use the community centre on the Friday nights, if full, street parking on Ealing Road is permitted.
