In 2022, the Gauge O Guild Summer Show in Doncaster is being held on Saturday 11th June. The delay of one week is for 2022 only, to avoid clashing with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations. We will revert to the first Saturday in June for 2023 onwards.

IMPORTANT - Please use the pedestrian access next to the cycle track to access the show rather than use the main entrance to the swimming pool and ice rink.

There will be four Layouts

• Exit the M18 at Junction 3 (A6182) and head initially towards Lakeside Shopping Centre. • After the bridge over the East Coast Main line there is a set of traffic lights with signs indicating left to the Shopping Centre. Go straight on and turn right at the next roundabout. • Follow this road around the lake and turn right at the third roundabout. • Doncaster Dome is on your right in 250m but there is a huge car park on your left in 100m and the Centre’s own car park in 200m on your right.
Please use the pedestrian access next to the cycle track to access the show rather than use the main entrance to the swimming pool and ice rink.
There is a great Bus service to the Dome from the Interchange bus station which is 5 minutes walk from the Railway Station. Service numbers 55 and 57 pass the venue and depart every few minutes so there will never be long to wait for the next bus. Yorkshire Folk don’t often bite so if you get flummoxed by so many timetables at the Bus Station, don’t hesitate to ask someone. There is an information office there. Some members may prefer to walk, at least on their way to the Dome, when unencumbered by their purchases. Expect to take around 40 minutes for the journey, and just feel the benefit.
