Our second virtual show is happening this weekend - Saturday 6th March from 09:30 - 17:00 GMT.
It is free to all and you access it by going to the front page of the Gauge O Guild website
www.gaugeoguild.com
The doors will open at 09:30 GMT on Saturday 6th March and there will be a very obvious [ENTER HERE] on the front page of our website.
The show was publicised in the February Guild News and some of you may have also seen it advertised in Railway Modeller, on RM Web, Western Thunder, the World of Railways website, and on Facebook. We are hoping for a lot of visitors and hopefully we will interest more people in O gauge modelling and attract new members.
Please feel free to pass on this information to your friends and Club members.
Like the previous virtual show, there are numerous layout videos to enjoy, many from our overseas members and several that are based in people’s houses so you will not have seen them before. There are demonstration videos, lots of trader adverts, some with special offers and a new Dapol product is being launched at 11:00 GMT.
There is also a display of models built during lockdown. Guild publications such as the ‘Small Layout’ books and Guild clothing are available and there is a big timetable of live events by Zoom.
An image of the timetable is can be found here so that you can plan your day.

Many sessions are happening concurrently so choose what you want to see ‘Live’. If you are joining a layout Q & A in the afternoon, please watch the video of that layout in the morning.
All the Zoom sessions are being recorded and they will be added to the site after 6th March so you can see the ones you missed.
The whole show, including all the live session recordings will be accessible for the whole of March 2021. This ensures that if you miss the day or if you are on a different time zone you can visit any time you like, as often as you like and enjoy every aspect of the show.
This link will take you to some notes which will help you prepare for the day showing how to navigate the show and helpful tips about Zoom.

There will be a Help Desk in the top blue panel and in the Index with a list of ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ but you can also link via Zoom to real people and ask questions if you get stuck. If you cannot come to the help desk via Zoom, call Jackie Kneeshaw (Chairman of Events) on 07810 861362 and she will try to help.
There is a huge amount of team work happening to bring the show to you so I want to thank the whole virtual events team for all of their time and efforts.
We all hope you enjoy Saturday and if you cannot attend on the day, or you want to visit more than once, just visit the front page of the website anytime during the month of March.
