Since 2024 our meetings are now firmly re-established normally on the third Sunday of the month (unless noted) see dates below, at 10am to 4pm Dursley Community Centre (upstairs), Rednock Drive, Dursley, Glos, GL114BX. The facility has good parking, a licensed bar, our Group are based on the 1st floor upstairs (in a large hall), we also have a small kitchen for serving members light refreshments. About the Group

Glos GOG exists as an informal ‘group’ of 0 gauge railway modellers, with wide diverse interests and skills based around the 7mm scale. Run on a ‘not for profit’ basis, we are simply a small number of individuals, currently around 40 plus, with a common interest; we currently meet monthly at Dursley Community Centre based in Gloucestershire to share that mutual interest, exchange ideas, knowledge and expertise in various ways.

The Groups membership is drawn from a wide geographical area not limited by any county boundary. Our Group was formed in 1982, we have, based on mutual respect, developed an established ‘meeting’ format style, whereby we aim to provide a relaxed and friendly environment so we can enjoy our hobby and share that enjoyment socially with others. We have no ‘club’ premises, relying on the hire of the current venue for ‘Open’ meetings, Our 4 road Test Track being available for the running of locos and stock.

Our Group also visits other Shows/Clubs, and Members Garden Railways (by private invite only).

Some of our group also own 7mm Exhibition layouts that are sometimes shown at various local model railway events on an individual basis.

Since re-establishing our Group at Dursley Community Centre in 2024 after the Covid Pandemic, we also put on a Charity Mixed Gauge Model Railway Exhibition once a year in the summer with our friends from the Dursley Wings & Wheels Society (that also use the same facility as us), see our news and event page for dates and information.
